Nestled above Lake Serre Ponçon, the commune of Crots is rich in forests and pastures, making it a prime destination for hiking. A scenic trail leads you to the summit of Grand Morgon, passing through the lunar landscape of the Bragousse cirque, a beautiful meadow in the Morgon cirque, and culminating in unforgettable views from the Pic de Morgon. The Écrins National Park also forms part of the Embrunais landscape, representing the park’s southernmost area. From the lake’s shores to the Tête de Vautisse, hikers can journey from a Mediterranean climate up to alpine heights, discovering a wide variety of wildlife and plants. The Boscodon Abbey and Picomtal Castle reflect the rich history of the commune. The gîte is located in a quiet house with two stacked apartments, each with its own entrance and private space. Access is via stairs. The living area includes a lounge with TV and a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, pantry with washing machine). There is a bathroom and underfloor heating. In summer, enjoy Lake Serre Ponçon. Crots’ beaches are among the lake’s most popular for windsurfing and sailing enthusiasts.
